After a pleasant dinner at a cozy restaurant, Anna and her friend David were ready to leave. They had enjoyed grilled salmon, pasta, and some fresh juice. Anna looked around for the waiter, who was busy serving other customers. She raised her hand politely and said, 'Excuse me, can we have the bill, please?' The waiter smiled and nodded, 'Of course, just a moment.' A few minutes later, he brought a small leather folder to their table. David checked the bill carefully to make sure everything was correct. 'It looks fine,' he said. Anna took out her credit card and handed it to the waiter. 'Would you like to split the bill or pay together?' the waiter asked. 'We’ll pay together,' Anna replied. The waiter processed the payment quickly and returned with the receipt. 'Thank you for dining with us. Have a great evening!' he said. Anna and David smiled, thanked him, and left the restaurant feeling satisfied.
