Anna woke up with a high fever on Monday morning. She knew she couldn't go to work feeling this sick. After taking some medicine, she called her manager, Mr. Brown. 'Good morning, Mr. Brown. This is Anna. I’m feeling really unwell today. I have a high fever and a sore throat. May I take a sick day?' Mr. Brown replied, 'I’m sorry to hear that, Anna. Please rest and recover. Do you need more than one day off?' Anna answered, 'I think one day is enough, but if I’m not better tomorrow, I’ll let you know.' Mr. Brown said, 'Alright, take care of yourself. Your health is important.' Anna thanked him and went back to bed, feeling relieved that she had permission to rest.
