Last Saturday afternoon, Anna was walking home after shopping at the market. Suddenly, she heard someone calling her name. It was David, her old classmate from high school, standing across the street. Anna waved and crossed over to greet him. They hadn’t seen each other in years. David told Anna he had just moved back to the city for a new job at a technology company. They laughed, sharing memories about their teachers and classmates. David mentioned he was in a hurry to meet a friend but suggested catching up over coffee next weekend. Anna agreed and saved his phone number. As they said goodbye, Anna felt happy about the unexpected meeting and looked forward to seeing her old friend again.
